Boasting over 50 years of experience in the development and application of synthetic deck systems, Bolidt develops and supplies a wide range of specific solutions and services to the Ministry of Defence.

Innovative deck systems

For the navy

Building frigates, submarines, amphibious transport ships, mine hunters and supply ships is teamwork. As a team player, Bolidt offers all know-how and expertise in the field of innovative deck systems under one roof. Bolidt unburdens clients completely; from development, production, advice and sale to application and maintenance. Just as important; Bolidt thinks at great length with customers, designers, shipyards and crew. Everything under one roof.

Deck systems and more

Besides supplying innovative deck systems for navy ships, Bolidt is also a partner to the defence organisation in the field of highly specific navy applications such as shockproof bonding, ballast compound, cast-in heli rail constructions and grouting masses.

Partner in research programmes

Bolidt is a partner in various research programmes of the navy and TNO, suppliers to defence and naval shipyards. The Bolideck® systems for the navy are ISO 9001, 14001 and VCA certified. Bolidt develops continuously in every field in terms of quality, functional properties and durability.

Excellent properties

Because the Bolidt deck systems do not absorb water, the growth of bacteria, algae and fungi is minimal. They are also very low-maintenance and easy to keep clean. Other important properties are: light weight, even and uniform, flexible, strong and durable, temperature- and chemical-resistant, noise and vibration reducing.

Worldwide operations

The development and production of the Bolidt deck systems takes place in the Netherlands. From its head office with a modern R&D Centre and extensive production facilities, Bolidt serves customers all over the world.

Highlight

bolidt helideck®

As an experienced and reliable partner of Defence, Bolidt has been producing deck systems for use on naval ships for many years. Bolidt's own specialists work on numerous projects, including developing and applying helicopter decks on board frigates and logistics support ships. A system that is eminently suitable for this is Bolidt Helideck®.

Functional under all conditions

From a functional point of view, Bolidt Helideck® is the most optimal deck finishing system for helicopter decks. The system is characterised by a very high mechanical load-carrying capacity, which prevents damage caused by sliding skids. Bolidt® Helideck is, furthermore, highly anti-slip, also with rain, mist and seawater spray.

The deck system can be painted without it losing its functional properties. Further, Bolidt® Helideck is optimally resistant to oils and chemicals.

Excellent compatibility

The Bolideck® Helideck system is compatible with all existing Bolideck® deck systems and can be customised to suit all your requirements.
